iGuidance 3.0 use Remote Control Only?

I'm thinking about just making a really stripped down CarPC just for navigation, would I be able to just program an IR remote control to control iGuidance or will a touchscreen be a bare minimum? I realize it will not be as convienient. Thanks

btw, you can save monay by not going with touchscreen, and have iguiadance as autostart, but i bet you wouldn;t get satisfied, so just go with touch screen it's $100 more, but you can find some hot deals on ebay for under $200.00.

that way if you feel like an upgrade, you would not have to spend anymore money on screens
