coiudl someone just make this into a patch exe to save some of us some work?
I assure you, I am NOT lazy, but I am spread so darned thin most of the time I hardly have time to eat, let alone run time consuming res hacks on applications like this. either way, I am glad someone found out how to add this feature to iguidance. I defenitely have had a need for coordinate entry more than a handful of times.
keep up the good work
p.s. thanks for the warning to stay away from 3.1

Amazing! Thank you for the credit, but I think I was just the first person to bring up the topic.. I didn't send the res file. So technically, someone else deserves the credit!
I am super glad this worked... time to mod!

I would like to point out that it might be confusing for a noob to add this mod.
firstofall, if you are using the fullsized "laptop" version of iguidance, make sure you use the code in the second post.
secondly, you will need to import the 1092.res file from the zip, by opening reshacker, then in reshacker click file, open, and point to the iguidance.exe.
then click on dialog and click action on the tool bar, down at the bottom of this menu you will see "add new resource".
point to the 1.92.res file you downloaded from the zip.
once it is in there, you will need tochange the content to thestuff for the full sized iguidance. just navigate to the 192. dialog, open it up and close the box that pops up (if it is so big you cant see the X to close the box, just hit escape and it will go away) then select all the code in that box and delete it, then paste the code in from the second post on here.
im falling asleep as I type this, so I might not be making any sense...

the mod can be done but must be done manually with 3.01 or someone needs to make a patcher of the 3.01 version the patcher is exe specific thats why i suspect this is the problem but i cant confirm as i don't have 3.01 and only 3.0 BTW is there any real benefit to 3.01?

it still works with the gas plugin for coordinates to go to the gas station, you just cant put in the lat and lon manually.

Personally, I don't see any change between the 2 version.
If you haven't update yet, keep it at 3.0. If you already did, well, try to go back. That is what I'm going to do next. Well, prior to upgrade, I backup the exe so I just replace it back. No uninstall/install needed.

I might be missing something but wouldn't it be nice if that dialog box had a dash? Most coordinates I use require the dash. But other than that I've got to say this hack is awesome.

Has anyone got an "updated" one for IG4? I tried the hack but the results look similiar to what you saw with v3.1
Thanks
