Any way to turn off IG3 'Warning' screen?
Hey!
I've started playing with this software some, and it's really annoying that the warning screen pops up the first time when I boot the system up. I've 'd the internet and forums, and I haven't found anything on how to disable that... just wondering if anyone knows how. Thanks!

I'm glad this was asked again. I've seen many posts on it that ended with people linking to solutions but never seen a solution that worked. I'm going to try this tomorrow.

I actually have an AutoIt script (it's on my laptop so I'll have to post it later if you all want it), but it starts up IG with the aforementioned command line switch and also sets a registry point to 'tell' IG which comm port your gps is connected to so you don't have to worry about doing an auto detect or anything else. That way as soon as you have signal, IG is good to go.

What other things does that script use. Does it remap Iguidance keys. I am trying to remap it to my skin i created but so far i am getting a headache.

In order for it to work for me in the RRConfig program I had to put the following:
EDIT: Here is what I have now with iG 3.0
C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\iGuidanceUMPC.exe|nowarning
using the pipe with no spaces and no quotes around any part.

Probably because you are NOT using the European version.
Try it with the proper path, and it will work.

So why's JimmyFitz in Austin, Texas using the European Version??
@ Everyone else... I'll be going out to the car in a bit to grab that script... and no, it doesn't remap keys as I use the UMPC version of IG3 and just use the interface as it is, although I've made a few hacks to my version (the ones listed around this site).

Ok guys, here's the AutoIT script I'm running. You need to compile it and start IG by running this program vs. just running IG from iguidance.exe or iguidanceumpc.exe. Run this script, it will set the correct comm port for your gps (you need to edit the script for file and comm port locations), and then start iGuidance without the warning screen.
Code:
; Script Start -
$CP = RegRead("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\iNav\iGuidance", "CommPort")
; The -8- in this code is the comm port for my setup. change this to whichever comm port your system uses for gps
If $CP <> 4 Then
RegWrite("HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\iNav\iGuidance", "CommPort", "REG_DWORD", "8")
EndIf
Run("C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance\iGuidanceUMPC.exe nowarning", "C:\Program Files\iNav\iGuidance")
