I just tested this on my lunch break for about 40 min. It works great. I inputted addresses every which way (typing the full name, partial name, using arrows...) and it worked without any problems. I'm so happy....*tear

sorry bro. i just went to my car and tested it. works fine. i did address/city first and put in my city and this time it didn't jump back to the first city in the list for my state. i think before too it had said "enter city" when i was putting in the street, on the buggy ig-q. didnt notice if it was correct this time. i was using the blue devil or whatever that skin version of ig-q was called and of course with this beta it is regular colors which is fine.
thanks lostreception

that enter city part was becuase of the original skin that JohnWPB had made it covered the iguidance text and he had static text up there that said enter city
so whenever the OSK popped up it would always say the same thing
glad its working

I tested this out last night. After i installed it i launched Iguidance and it appeared to not work.. I went to destination and the igQ keys did not kick in.. I was shocked.. So i closed the program closed IGQs and and then reopened igQ and then reopened iguidance and then tried destination and it worked correctly the keys overlayed and it did not skip the address. Next i tried it in the frontend I use (Mobile Impact) Worked with no problems i left IGQ running.. I think I will add that to my startup folder.
I then tried the coordinates and that worked also.. Then i tried the application how i would in an out in the car pc. USing cold boot using, hibernation, no problems found yet. thanks for the software.

I've tested the last version, and while it goes generally well, I've found a little bug that needs explanations ...
iGuidance normal behaviour
Normally, the sequence of screens when you enter a destination using the "Street first" mode is as follows:
1. Enter Street name
2. Enter House Number
3. Select Address
But in some cases, when you enter a destination, iGuidance does not prompt you for a "House Number" and send you directly to the "Select Address" entry screen, skipping step 2. This happens when the "Street" you select is not really a street, but a place or a building without houses numbers.
An example of this behaviour can be found by loading the map for Quebec, Canada, and typing the following "Street" name : "PLACE LAVAL".
With iGQuerty
Using IGQuerty, if you click the OK button after entering the "street", the step 2 is not skipped. As you do not have a House Number to enter, any number you enter gives an address on the first street of the list. Using a keyboard, if you type {enter} instead of clicking the OK button, everything works as it should.
Is there any way to correct this?
Thanks for your great work!
André
