anyone managed to get this to work with the 2.1.2 release... we poor bastards in europe will never get a v3... and while waiting for Mapfactor v7 IG is the best navi we have!

if you use reshacker as described in my post linked in the 1st post of this tread about what to add to the dialogs it should???? work its been a while since i ran 2.x so it may not . it also depends on how much they changed the inner workings of iG, sorry without a way of testing i have no idea :-/

Can you release the process you used to update the coords for the keyboard patcher? I'm using iGuidance 3.0.1 and your patcher only supports 3.0. I'd be happy to release a patcher for you if I only knew what you did.

OK, patching the Dialog 1008 caption to "OSK" worked for iG 3.0.1 and igqwerty 1.0c. I have it running on two machines, my actual carpc works fine, my testing pc works but the old keyboard shows behind it. I figured out that it was because I had my DPI changed to 120dpi instead of 96dpi (default). I've already reshacked the "Menu", "Mute/Unmute", "+" and "-" buttons from the display. The "Menu" button actually still works, you just can't see it. The only thing I can't seem to find in reshacker is that when IG is muted, the little "x" shows up that would normally show over the top of the button. Once I find out where to get rid of that, my IG 3.0.1 mod will be perfect for me.

This patch won't work for 4.0, it's specifically for 3.x.x. If I had 4.0 I could make a patch like I did for 3.0.

I've got 4.0 (but my .exe files have a version of 3.0). It would be sweet to have a patch for this. It takes twice as long with the ABC!

I got Ig 4.0 to work with IgQWERTY 1.0c....

That's great but can you provide details for the rest of us? Did you have to use and of the Installers for igCoordPatcher.exe or iGQWERTY_v1.0c.exe or reshack these?

or do you have to reshack the iGuidanceUMP.exe (VERSION 4.0) file?
