Tired of "ABC" keyboard in IGuidance? iGQwerty
Introducing IG-(Q) WERTY KeyBoard
Add-on For iGuidance 3.0 NA
UPDATE: 04-01-07
New Version Released
- Current Features:
- Runs in the system tray and waits for the iGuidance OSK to appear then replaces the iGuidance "ABCDEF..." keyboard with a QWERTY keyboard
- Skinnability! (see post 2)
- Adds Navigate by coordinates back (More info)
- If iGQwerty is not running iGuidance still functions 100% normal
- Click and hold on BACKSPACE will repeatedly backspace rather than having to click over and over (iGuidance currently doesnt do this)
- Includes numeric inputs [0-9] and extra characters [/-&' Etc.]
- Doesn't block normal keyboard input (You can still type on your keyboard)
Future Improvements:
- Adding scripting to control other screens easily by making a "workaround" to allow users to control iGuidance3.0 like 2.x used to be
Download:
- DOWNLOAD LINK 1.0c XP Compatible
Change Log:
v1.0b -09-18-2006

Skinning
The following files are NOT required to run iGQwerty just included for reference
Add the files iGQ_OSKUp.bmp and iGQ_OSKDown.bmp
to the same directory you unpacked iGQwerty
Pink transparencies will be needed to see the dropdown and editbox
if you want to get started you can look at these files made by Tidder
iGQ_OSKFiles
Below is an OSK that JohnWPB has made for his BlueDevil skin

iG-(Q) is nice, but perhaps the name iGqwerty would tell people it has something to do with a keyboard
But hey, no matter what the name, the product is great!
