There are very few threads on the use of the CF GPS in a carputer (rather than pocket pc). I have an Ambicom CF GPS that I used to use with my pocket pc - I was hoping to solicit some experiences with using a CF and would rather save the $ before I investing in a usb version if comparable. Thanks -
Using Pharos CF GPS / PCMCIA adapter, works just fine
I am using a 3-4 year old Pharos compact flash GPS and a PCMCIA - CF adapter in a laptop - everything works fine including hibernation and XPort, etc. No issues.
