Mapmonkey freedrive in the US?..possible?

Does mapmonkey or freedrive can work in the US?
Where do you get the maps or how do you set it up?

When I install mapmonkey It gives me a london suburbs or something map...I'm in washington DC!?!

you have to buy destinator maps and install them for mapmonkey and/or freedrive to work

the map you are seeing was just included to show it works
