Are any of the Bluetooth GPS capable of autoconnect?

I have been reading and searching posts looking for info on bluetooth GPS.

Many posts indicate that you need to hit the on button on the BT GPS, and then connect through the laptop of pda to it before you can use it.

I currently have a USB GPS on my laptop, but would also like to use my Ipaq 1945 for GPS.

It looks like my only options for the PDA are BT or SD. I would prefer BT, and would like to also use it with my laptop, but I don't want to have to turn the GPS on, and/or manually connect to it each time.

Anyone have a more automatic setup? Which BT GPS would do the trick? I don't mind constant supply of power from the car, or switched from acc.

Ive never been happier than my i-Blue GPS reciever. It automatically goes into standby when not connected, and wakes up when the computer tries to connect to it. It has no buttons, pretty tiny, and has a 30 hour active battery life.

Its $100, but I would definatly recomended it. I keep it constantly plugged into its car charger when in the car, and I can take it out and use it with my ppc6700 pocket pc in an instant. Lasts about a week or 2 outside of the charger under normal usage too.

This is my reciever:

For a few extra $ you can get a BT antenna with the new Sirf III chip here!

Mine is so sensitive it can pick up sats inside the house! I bought it so I can use Destinator 6 on the PDA. I can use it with Mapmonkey on the carputer too of course.

It sounds like the only possible advantage of the one listed in the third post is sensetivity?

In your experience with the one on eBay, does it aquire satelites quickly, and keep a constant connection to them easily? Does it allow more than one device to be connected to it at one time? i.e. if I have my laptop and my PDA in the car at the same time...

I get about 20 seconds connection time in my car, and maybe a minute or 2 when I am completley sorounded by tons of really tall buildings in downtown minneapolis. It never looses the connection once established (except for a short moment going under bridges or tunnels)

It even gets near perfect reception when it gets lodged underneath my drivers seat (when it falls off of wherever I put it)

It can only connect to one device simultaneously (I don't think any GPSr's do this)
