Garonav help
So I just learned about and saw garonav and i absolutely love it and its simplicity. Currently im using microsoft streets and tips 2006 which is cool but its small and hard to use on the go especially without an osk. Does anyone know how i can transfer the maps from s&t's into garonav so i can use garonav for navigation?

I don't think it could be done, because it seems to me that destinator and streets and tips maps are incompatible...
but if someone knows that I'm wrong com'on... let us know how to do

Garonav was designed around the destinator SDK. It will not work with Streets and Trips at all. If you want to use it, you will have to use Destinator maps. You can use the d3 maps, or the newer destiantor PN maps. You will need to tweak the PN maps to work with garonav. Check out his thread, someone posted instructions on how to do that.

so are destinator maps any good? where can i get them? do they cost money or can i downloadthem or something...cuz i would really like to use garonav

For the united states, Destinator maps tend to suck. They're generally the least up-to-date.
And you can purchase the Destinator maps.

so basically theres no point in using it if they are so bad. theres gotta be someway to improve this.

how can i contact him, maybe we can convince him to somehow make it so that any set of maps can be loaded into the program to be used through it unless someone else wants to lol but i dont mind

I think that "load any map you want" is not a possible thing to do, but if you want to ask him to work on on the new DSK of destinator you could do contacting him by mail...

The instructions are the same of Map Monkey's... (for the map)
