Good news..

I just received e-mail from Directions Ltd.

"Version 7 will be released next week."

Oh we can all hold our breath, as software producers never lie.............

Expect it in 6 months..........

I think the only software producer with a prolific release schedule was/is seriff, no sooner did you buy a product then it was free on a magazine and you had to upgrade.........

Well... I'm sorry than.. I was just sharing some information..

Here's another update:

1) Is there any chance to have a demo version to try out the features for CarPC?
not at this moment, may be after v7 is released
2) Could you please give me some details about new or improved features, fixes and CarPC compatibility?
it will be on our web site later this week, mainly import and TMC
3) What's the exact release date, cause I couldn't see any news or ads on the site?

It doesn't say anything on TMC (yet)

Is version 7 windowed or just for fullscreen use?

I have screenresolution 800x600 and I need Navigator-software with size 640x480 pixels. Rest of pixels (160x120) I use to another software. Is it possible to decrease window-size?

From the feature list and the screenshots all i can see that is usefull is TMC support, hopefully they have listened to our requests and have just not listed all the carpc features...

I was born an optimist:-) It's probably a longshot to have all requests fullfilled, but i do still like the general usability of pc navigator 6

TMC is open TMC and others... in short every where except the UK.... I had a chat with them.

HOW ever with the Open TMC been exactly that there is no reason that using some of the Internet data streams I know about some one could not write a proggy to provide that data to the programe.
