MS Streets & Trips auto start GPS

I have MS Streets and Trips 2006 and it works great for my GPS.

When the computer hibernates and then is turned back on, everything works fine but I have to click the checkbox to enable GPS again because I guess it unchecks it when you hibernate. Is there a way to automatically do this so I don't always have to recheck that box in the GPS task pane to make the GPS work again?

Thanks!

Someone wrote a script to do just that.
Search for it here in the forums.

How long should we spend searching for the data before we can get a clue as to where to find it? For the record I am in for about 20 minutes of searching for the script with no luck so far.

Only 20 minutes?
****, I spend more time than that reading the friggin comics!

Seriously...
If you're having a difficult time locating information, you have two choices:
1. Keep slogging through crap until you find what you need/want.
2. Narrow your search criteria by using relevant keywords.

I recommend option #2.

I found this in under 20 seconds: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show...rips+GPS+Start
I searched on the keywords STREETS TRIPS GPS START and didn't specify any specific subforums.
That thread is on the first page of threads, about 3/4 of the way down.

As an aside to the OP:
You'll need AutoIT to lauch the S&T application. The script contained in the above link is for AutoIT.

Thanks for the help. Sometimes I just don't get the right results with the search, in the future I will refrain from specifying a sub forum.
