Yes, almost everything is possible if one tries :-)
Today I released Beta version of
S&Tkeys (hotkeys for Streets & Trips 2007). One of the features included is automatic re-routing. It's actually a very simple code done in AutoIt.
S&Tkeys watches what is happening on the screen. When it notices you are off route, it will automatically press <F3> to re-route you. This feature has so far been enabled for screen resolutions of 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, and 1280 x 1024 pixels. I'd like to add support for 800 x 480 (UMPC, CarPC's), but I don't have a monitor supporting such resolution. If someone could help, I'd much appreciate it. All I would need is a simple screenshot of Streets & Trips 2007 (or AutoRoute 2007) taken in full-screen mode at the exact moment when the program displays the red exclamation mark (off route).
If someone is willing to help out, I will gladly share the simple code here so others can modify it for use in their own setups.
Thanks in advance.

P.S. One possible way to take such screenshot is to just do it on a home computer while the GPS receiver is 'deprived' of good satellite signals

. Your location will jump all over the place giving you plenty of oportunities to be 'off-route'
