Xmas Street and Trips 07

I just got Streets and Trips 07 w/ the GPS locator. However, I already have MapPoint software, but I do not have the GPS locator with Mappoint. I was wondering if it would just be better for me to return the Streets and Trips and start looking for a GPS device to work like this Streets and Trips locator. Any thoughts on what you would do would be greatly appreciated. I am completely new to this forum and site.

the GPS antenna/reciever doesn't have to be a specific microsoft one.

the BU-353 works just fine with them.

Return S&T07, keep Map Point and buy the BU-353 or similar. Of course, if your copy of Map Point is a few years old, I'd stick with S&T since it's newer.

Thanks for the response. I have Map Point 2005 so I will just return ST 07 and get that GPS antenna/reciever.

Also is there like a update you can buy for Map Point instead of getting the whole new package?

thanks so much for the response. I will return Map-Point and start looking into getting a GPS antenna/reciever. Is the service of getting the GPS signal free? I remember a few years back I had a Furono Marine GPS locator for my boat and once I bought the hardware the GPS service was free.

Also is there a way just to update my Map Point software to the newest version? Sort of like what you do with Virus protection software.

I rock BU-353 and S&T06. Never had any problems. Getting 07 tomorrow so I expect same results

OK well I will return ST 07 and use Map Point. Is there turn by turn instructions in Map Point?
