Are there devices that allow you to connect existing stock GPS antenna to your PC?

My car came with the Navigation package, so the antenna is already in there. Has anyone connected their stock antenna to their PC? Is it possible?

Thanks for any pointers,
Per

What car did you get? Mine's got a gps builtin for the onstar but not sure I want to fool around with "hacking" into it.

We have to make a distinction between GPS RECIEVER and GPS ANTENNA.

If you are trying to use the receiver, with out buying a different GPS reciever for your computer, it will take some work. It can be, and has been done. Search the web for "onstar hack" or "onstar gps hack" and ye shall find.

If you want to use just the external GPS antenna, you will need to determine if the antenna is active or passive, and get GPS receiver that has the ability to utilize an external antenna, and then mate the antenna to the receiver. Seach this site for OEM GPS and ye shall find that.
