Odd BU-353 problem.

So, I have IGuidance 3.0 and the BU-353. Now, I installed the USB to Serial drivers, and the BU is flashing the red light. I dont know if its supposed to flash or be solid light. But I have no info off of it. When I load IG I am 10 miles away from my house, and when I drive with it, I dont move. At least, the software says I dont. The Lat and Long are there, but I have no way of knowing for sure if its right. The Alt is not there neither is the speed. Also the first two fields are also blank. So, anyone have any Ideas? Is my GPS working and Im just an idiot or is the gps reciever dead? Thanks.

The flashing red led stands for position fix. This has happened to me. Try unplugging the usb cable, waiting 10-15 seconds and re-connect it to see if that helps.

LED OFF: Receiver switch off
LED ON: No fix, signal searching
LED Flashing: Position fixed

Go into the IG menu and select it to "auto" find the GPS. Maybe it never found your device. Did it ever work or is this the first time you are trying to use it?
