Map / POI data

Does anyone out there have/know of a POI database?
And a map database would be nice, too.

And if its a MySQL db, that would be amazing.

Navteq has some POI great data in shapefile format, however, extremely expensive. There are some shady places online where you can find them.

I'm looking for something for iGuidance but haven't had any luck really. It seems kind of limited with adding custom/your own POI's.

Thinking about it some more, I guess you could easily extract POI from MapPoint using their object model. However, I don't know if that violates the EUA so you should probably check that out (if you care that is

)
