It seems to always be a problem and one so simple that you have to assume the nav developers never hibernate/standby. The driver developers don't either.

Ah interesting! Thanks for reporting back. I guess this will be the new version but it's holding an extra few seconds worth of data which may explain the troubles reported when switching to iG4. It has to be lagging behind at least 1 or 2 seconds.

This morning (coming out of hibernation) Xport never received any data from the GPS.. I closed out of Xport and went back in and same results.. I'm not sure if that is related to Xport or not but figured I'd let you know.

Another update.. Today I have been 0/3.. At lunch it showed the GPS getting data and both ports 5 & 6 connected but in RR it didn't show the GPS connected and in IG it had 0/12 sats and all red (showing no connection).

Seems to work except I when I put this in a batch file for HibernateTrigger.exe, it starts iGuidance and the DOS prompt stays until iGuidance shuts down, then the DOS window disappear.
It doesn't seem to bother me as I run iGuidance in full screen mode anyway, but still it would be nice to get rid of the DOS window once iGuidance starts.
So far I've tried hibernating the tablet for about 10 times and it works every single time by starting iGuidance after hibernation.
Thanks guys.
You don't need a program to do that just open notepad and enter the following
Code:
TASKKILL /F /IM "iguidance.exe"
then save it as a .bat file. This also should close automatically after running instead of staying open.

Well, I'm stumped. I drove around today and hibernated about 10 times. iGuidance 4 starts moving after maybe 3 or 4 seconds. My other 3 apps running work the same. There's something different. I just know what.

No. The GPS to XPort part is working. For you, the XPort virtual ports aren't hibernation friendly.
Some have better luck with GpsGate. So that's another option.

I'm doing that with Devcon and Hibernate Trigger.
Check out this thread: http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/faq-...de-devcon.html

When you have trouble like that, it's usually something with the USB. Like you have it in a hub along with something else that's making it less reliable.
