OK Robby, I've made my board! Plugged it in, "TMS USB Receiver found" pops up, "USB HID Device found" pops up and I have a HID device in the device manager.

If I haven't installed the sensors in my tires yet, how can I know it is working?

I have run the config but when I run RR with my TPMS skin, there are no values reported nor any battery life per sensor.

How did you learn sensors? Im quick read manual and if you want learn sensors you must fill or empty tire. So I think you don't have learned receiver and then you see vrong values...

OK, so there is no way of testing this outside of actually installing at least 1 sensor?

Does anybody know where we can get these sensors in Europe? I came in contacts with the people mentioned in the above link but they said that they did not carry these anymore. Are there any other resources where we can find these in Europe?

Robby has done a vary fine job and I think that this will be a nice addition to the carpc concept.

There are a few places in europe that do the kit yes. Im waiting for a supplier for China to get back to me with there finished product, apparently out end of this month. The price for received unit and 4 sensors is $80 but thats for 200 units.

Im sure i could shift 200 units even with a sligth mark up, just dont want to put up the £4000 it will cost me to get them at that price!! lol! (in in uk btw!)

This is really awesome job Robby, I just ordered my TPMS kit.

Thanks for the cool interface you made. I have sent a PM to have the programmed PIC.

That is a fantastic price compared to the $200USD of the other seller. Keep us posted.
Waiting patiently and let us know if we can get into this.

What TMPS is recommended I have seen 2 major ones on Ebay... The VALET 4-Sensor Tire Pressure Monitoring System... which seems to have alot of features and Hella TC-400 Tire Pressure & Temperature Monitor System. All the other systems didnt really catch my eye.

That VALET system looks pretty interesting. Separate display from the receiver. In theory, a person could decode the information sent to the display and design a PIC based board to give a USB interface, without having to hack up a unit. Basically stating a lot of Robby's work from scratch. Nice price on ebay also.

Yes that is the one im leaning towards also, I cannot find the one he used. The VALET system seems to give you alot more information then the others I looked at. If we didnt have to hack into the board, wouldnt it be easier to do it through the display?
