HQCT Module in Australia

I am wondering if anyone has used the HQCT Module in Australia? Will it work in Australia? If anyones used it how successful was it?

I'm wondering if this is my last step required for a full headunit replacement

Just hack a Silabs. Silabs are so much cheaper, its available in Australia, you can hook your car antenna up to it and the audio is digital via the usb not output/input style giving you 2 audio sources to deal with. The HQCT IMO is pretty overrated. Thats my 2 cents

It accepts a car antenna but you have to solder it in. You will find a thread with info on this here if you search.

Hey Jake,

Yeah it works well on the bench, I've asked for some changes from the team to support some ozy stuff, more cosmetic than anything else, but yeah it's a solid unit.

Should be going in the car in about 2 weeks, just waiting on a few more purchases before it gets installed.

I think there is a trial for HD radio, but not sure when it will be rolled out here in Australia
