Simple on-off (10 seconds)-on circuit

Hi all, I have a 7" Tview monitor and as some of you know these things dont' like the cold weather. Pretty much what I have to do to get it to turn on in the cold is: 1)start my car (12v on to the LCD) 2)turn off an inline toggle switch to the LCD (cutting off 12v to the LCD) 3)wait 10 seconds 4)turn on toggle switch (re-supplying 12v to the LCD) I'm not talking about a pulse here, but the full 12v constant needed to be supplied to the LCD.

I'm looking for a simple relay/capicitor circuit to do this automatically since my toggle switch for the LCD is in the glove box. Any suggestions on this? Didn't really find anything on 12volt.com.

Anyone have any guidance on this? Or is there a really simple solution to this and I'm missing something?

What power supply do you have?
I had that same screen and the M1-atx and using the built in amp on connected to this worked great in the winter, You don't need to cut the screen power but you need to flip the power switch.

This one from the12volt dot com.

Switch = of course your car ACC/IGN 12V switch signal.
fulse 12+ (78) and momentary 12+ out (30) should be connect to 2 pins of the power button.

I have the opus 250.

I don't know if your circuit would actually solve my problem though. I just physically press the power button on the screen to turn it on but even in the cold weather, after the 12v is hot to the screen, after I press the power button on the screen the green light comes on for 2 seconds then shuts off. If however, I cut all power to the screen (via the above mentioned toggle switch) and reapply power and then try to turn the screen on again, it works!

So I'm just looking for something to simulate the on-off-on of a toggle switch
