From here

Of course, I will be glad to ship a full kit, or whatever is necessary. If you wanna save few $ (crisis, etc) than you can get some staff from local Radio Shack or ebay.

1. EMS garantpost (local post office I Google Mapped) works quite okay, affordable and usually ships in 1 week. I think also we can partner with some one from EU.
Never use FedEx in Russia though. It is some local Russian partner, terrible service.

2. It will work with any program that can sit on top of API we developed. Later, yes, we will support RoadRunner+Centrafuse or whatever people want us to implement.

At this point, there is Linux (Qt) and WIndows XP .NET apps available (see the video few posts ^). I believe can be easily converted to plug-in for RoadRunner.

Ok, the reason why i ask inside the EU is to save the high import customs... i will happy wait if you are on travels (london or something)

can i use any software or do i need to use the app you supply?

But not that imporatant is it? A hit is a hit no matter where it is. The main purpose of a distance detector is to make you stop before you hit anything, no matter if it's left, right or center.

An advantage of this system compared to ultrasonic sensors (besides no drilling in the bumper) is that ultrasonic senosrs doesn't work below 30 cm, while this apprently can go much lower. + There's no blind spots between sensors.

I agree with you, I am so ****ed i didnt see this. My bumper has to much metal behind it to mount the individual sensors. Had I known about this, I would not have went with the one that i have. I am so ****ed now....... Blue, do they have any with better displays? The one I have is a cool little LCD. The ones i see on the site are goofy little bar displays.

I'll put a download link with usage manual later in this thread.
However, you only have a free LPT option (slow and unstable) or a USB option
(requires our hardware).

In terms of shipping, I guess hardware itself is inexpensive. We can declare package price as $5 (which is not far from truth - I believe mass-production cost for parktronic and transponders is somewhat around $5-$10), and package it into electronic bubble film.
Import tax should not be that big.

Boelle: are you a Dane? I used to visit Copenhagen/Herlev quite often on some unrelated business.
My fellow colleagues are traveling to DK like every 2 weeks or so. It's an Xmas seasons however, unsure how active we are right now. Lemme check ..

i will go for usb anyway.... will i be able to use a camera too (etc. a webcam in the rear window)?

well as long as the pacakage is declared around 60$ or less i will not have to pay any import tax

EDIT: yep, a dane.... but i dont mind wait... have to have a running RR install first... which is more trouble than i first imagined

Europe! I did not check shipping options yet, but in practice, it's 15-40 to ship something to US or Hong Cong. Will you be interested to check our firmware for internal usage in EU, btw?
