Need a real good howto
To all
I want to do the front and back sensors setup. I need a precise concise guide detailing exactly what kits I need along with a step by step guide on what needs to be connected to what.
I already the following:
1 Dejans usb board
1 wireless 4 sensor led kit
1 wired 4 sensor led kit
===========================
From the descriptions in the forum and on Dejans website I believe that I really need a second wireless kit that is to modified by removing the wireless sender.
===========================
I already have a wired led backup sensor and camera that I installed. But I always wondered if the setup could be tied into the computer.
===========================
So what do I need to do?

You can use both kit wired and new one just normaly connect it by wire. But you must have PIC v1.10!!! So PIC must be diferent version than rear one... If you would like connect new board by wireless then you must remove wireless part from rear box...
both kit can be useable with Centrafuse or for testing with PS Holmes. I don't know if RR is ready for using both kit...

What is the pattern like on these... my wife keeps hitting the curb with her front bumper. I would like to try this if it would be usable for curb avoidance (in front of car).
tia,
Ron

I'm sorry, I have accidentally deleted some of my PM before to read them. Please, can you re-send the message?

Robby, is it possible to program a delay into your plugin? Every time I start the car and put the car in drive it switches to the camera view and stays there, even if the shifter is in drive. Sometimes it freezes Road Runner. Maybe 1 to 2 sec delay would be good, because every automatic has to goto reverse, neutral and then to drive.

No problem MGD, I'm just working on a new release of the plugin, so I can add also this new feature.

RB0 (used to drive a beeper) is multiplexed with SDA which makes I2C sensor devices out of scope. I've analyzed quite a few $30 devices (shipped to EU and US under different brands), including two models Robby was playing with.
SO .. in the next PCB release I propose to go beep on PORTA which is also nice to drive LEDs trough 330 oHm resistors .. just a thought.
Going to higher frequences than 8MHz would also be nicer cause RC2 can only be used for polling when it is not PWM, so higher sampling rate may be useful.
Great work overall Robby, inspirational.
