Custom USB Parking Sensor interface (formally PDC-USB) - Page 20

Hi, I'm building one interface, all is done but it miss the bin file to flash the PIC, do you have an idea where can I found one?
I use the normal LED PDC kit and not using wireless.

You can't get it. You must order programmed PIC from Robby BMW.

Ok thanks, can I just buy the software?
I already have the PIC, I don't really need one and I don't want to wait the shipping delay.

meglio italiano, sono polacco fra 2 setimane vengo in italia Emiglia romagna (FC) voglio sapere come poso comprare tuo pic programato

me interesa moplto tuo progetto ho machina lunga come treno

e uso carputer

poso comprare parc sesnsor con LED e era belissimo avere interface per carputer

ma non so come contatare con te

se me puoi rispondere sara belissimo

dtcpaolo(chiociola)interia.pl sei un grande veramete fai cose No.1 oggi ho pensato che nensuno non ha messo riscaldamento negli protezioni di parafangi

come qui che ce molto neve tutto si tappa con fango di neve gomme non si posono pulire sogno sempre piene di neve

penso che metendo riscaldamento che siolga neve dentro parafango ci cava quel probleme se non pulisci e tutto si giacia congela pensa te come devi sforzare sterzo per girare ruote

non so se buona idea

forsce non per tutto mondo ma nord si

Hey guys, now that the USB TPMS is just about ready to go, this is the next project that I would like to work on with Robby and the other guys, so that everyone can have one without going through the headache of building it. I am going to be doing some reading this evening to see what is required to build my own but if someone that is familiar with this thread point me the right direction for hardware it would be great so I can get stuff ordered right away. Also I know you guys are working with 2 particular parking sensor kits (LED and LCD) but does anyone know if the sensors that are used are interchangable? This will help me determine if I need to contact the company that is making these systems or if I can use my own source for sensors. In fact the guys at 3rd eye have a pretty nice system and since I already have my foot through the door it shouldn't be hard to source some sensors from them. Another idea I had was to possibly be able to combine both of these projects (TPMS and Parking Distance) into one board so that way you aren't wasting a USB port and we could reduce the cost, this is assuming that most people would like to have both of these features. Anyways I don't want to get to far ahead of myself, especially since I still have to finish reading this thread.

Also Dejan do you have any more of the PIC boards in stock?

Blankstar - if you still have those boards I am willing to relive you of them as long as they are in good working condition.

I have PDC boards on stock(with both front and rear PIC).

Hi Dejan,

i have posted here my problem with PDC-Plugin in CF.

((I have issue with my cam after Standby! When i close and restart CF it shows me the Pictures from cam, after standby i have a black screen in video windows.))

Can you help me with this Plugin??

Also, it would be nice to have an beep over hardware. My Beep-Output on PDC-Board is not working.

Nope My dad helped me get the two completed boards working. I have two Empty boards with the traces on them for anyone looking to build them. Alok I still need to update my TPMS boards with you. I have been busy last two weeks. I had a family matter to attend to for a week. I should ship it out soon. Ill shoot you a pm

When I came across this board in the beginning it was cool, but then I wanted to cover front and back and saw it required 2 USB boards in order to do so. If you can some how build a unit that has the option of 4 or 8 sensors, that would be awesome. I have gave up on this idea because I couldnt deal with the way the sensors look. They kill the look of the car and they are so obvious. I have 3 cameras being installed for the rear and 1 for the front, so Ive decided thats enough to get me by.

I would be nice if support for this type of parking sensor was added: www.proxel.com or the smilar www.parkingdynamics.co.uk
With this type of sensor you don´t need to drill any holes in your bumper and the installtion can be made completely invisible.
Another advantage of this system compared to ultrasonic sensors is that ultrasonic sensors doesn't work below 30 cm, while this apprently can go much lower. + There's no blind spots between sensors.
