Here's a thought (although somewhat more expensive), would it be easier to use two PICs and two 4 Sensor PDC's?
I don't know the details, but it could be possible for CF/RR for example to have the plugin running twice (or the ability for it to manage two PIC's)

I swore I bought the correct, normal LED version. But now I have received it it is the wired version, and checking back on the advert it appears that nowhere does it say wireless. *doH*
Is there no way to get the wired LED version working? It seems strange they would redesign it entirely just for wireless communication.
Or, is it just that no-one has attempted to play with the wired version so cannot confirm it will work?

Is not possible to use the wired version because the data sent to the display doesn't contain information about the distance detected by the sensors, but just the ON/OFF condition for each LED (bars and digits).

Dejan is doing the honours there.
Already got a fully constructed kit from him, complete with box, very nicely put together.

What do you mean with constructing? Only USB part or whole system?
Completed USB boards I have prepared. In 7 days I will have builded kits with sensors(But only limited edition I think 3-5 kits) So with this kits you will only put sensors on rear bumper connect it into main box and connect my box into USB(Wireless receiver will be builded into USB board). So this solution will be good for this people who don't have soledring skils...
More info about this you will find HERE next weekend...

8 sensor Kit?
if I buy this kit ( http://www.parkingsensors.co.uk/dolp...ng_sensors.asp), would you consider testing you PDC USB on it, and try to adjust it so it would work with this kit of 8 sensors? Or is it not at all possible?
I'm from Portugal, and i'm very interested in this kit, I have on my car pc the in dash K90 TFT touch screen that already as a entrance for the reaview camera that i've already tested, but I find your project much more interesting.
I'll be waiting for your reply
Best Regards

Thanks Dejan.
Re camera's, I think it'll be more sensible to go with something like this RCA camera, as it's hard to find a USB camera that's waterproof. If you purchase this and then get a USB2 video capture device to plug it in to, then you've essentially got the same thing without having to run a long USB cable if you PC isn't in the boot (which mine aren't)

And then one of these or similar. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Computers/C...-169799152.htm
That's NZ dollars so about $ 30 USD
