controlling A/ C from carputer?

so i foudn that lpt adaptor toturn on/off 8 devices fromt he touch screen. such as lights or udnerglow etc.

but i own a 2004 civic. and my A/C, rear defrost, and internal cycle are all push on push off buttons

im trying to find something i can use to wire these three buttons to. so i can use the touch screen to enable/disable the cotnrols

so now im assuming it may be within the control button. when when i push it the button turns on.t he light in it comes on and it stays on. keeping the singnal from the button goign to the controls to keep the a/c etc on

does anyone know where im going?
so im wondering if that control i found will do this? i mean if i find which wire it gives the cotnast 12vdc to when i press the button on. if i wire this to the lpt relay will it work formt he touch screen?

sigh. i think im confusing myself.

oh and controlling the 3 spiny knob things is probably beyond my comprehension right?

i think the three buttons im thinking of ar elike switches. push on then you push off?

am i right?

please help!!

Hi i am already working on a A/c control ...

Let me get this clear .. you want to turn on and turn of the custom buttons. right

So you have a push button when you press once the ac fan starts, then when you press twice the fan speed changes .. ?? right

Then this is easy .. let me know shall give you more details

A picture of your AC controls shall be helpfull.

I have a 2003 Honda Civic and have the same setup for the buttons. I haven't pulled my dash apart (yet) so I am not sure but I would guess they are so sort of constant push button switch. I am also interested in controlling this functions via software cause I want to use that space to put up front card readers, usb ports, and a slot load drive in that area.
