Unhappy my truck caught fire.

so here it is, the last thing i would expect to happen to my truck. the fuse box under the hood next to the battery totally melted down after catching fire in my 2002 toyota tacoma prerunner. i was so ****ed, a month ago my dad borrowed my truck, i was away at school and so he thought he would sell his car and just start using mine, well heres the thing one day the car died, and so he figured out it was the battery, he replaced the battery, but the engine light went on, the radio was still dead, and i was unable to adjust my mirrors, --im sure there must have been more, i just never got a chance to totally check it out -- oh ye and one more other thing, the head light went out. he never fixed anything he just dropped the truck off at my ma's and took my brother's (who is also at school). he then told me to go to autotrack and get a free analysis, so that way i can fix the problem myself or my mom's boyfiend can just take care of it. --****ed me off, he took no responsibility-- i was visiting home last weekend, when my mom decided to take my truck, in the evening, because she was getting a 'great' deal on furniture. she seriously doesnt need any. well anyways, half way through she calls me and tell me that my truck is on fire, her boyfriend was with and was able to put it out with some wet grass and weeds -- it worked, and who needs the fire dept-- the fusebox underneath the hood melted down along with some wires attached to it.

my question is: does anybody know a website where i can buy a replacement fusebox for my toyota truck. i appreciate any feedback.

WTF? do you just go around posting your sob story to every car-related forum you can find? in what way does that relate to putting a computer in your car?

Man,that sucks......lack of personal responsibilty is one of my pet peeves as well.
I don't know of any websites off the top of my head, but any local junkyard should have not only the fusebox, but the wiring that burned up with it.Depending on the yard, you can either remove it yourself,or some that do it for you.
The prices are pretty reasonable compared to a dealer part, which is the only other place you are going to find a fuse box made for your ride.

dont bother with a fuse box. just replace all the links with the wire from the cat 5 cable that links your cable modem to your PC.

(1. it will go up in flames again and 2. he wont be able to post on the internet about it - result!)

Um, because this forum is for discussing the development of hardware for car pcs. A car PC is a device used in a car to provide media and possibly gps capabilities.

Your post would be off-topic on EVERY forum here except for the Off-Topic forum.

And besides, its your first post? wtf. Sorry about your truck though, maybe you can find some forums somewhere that have more concern.
