voice activation

Dear friends,

last week i thought of a way of making voice activation for a few things in my car. basicly, i need to find software that compare recorded voice from the computer and when finding a match, activate circuit with 12V (or less..)

That circuit is feed from the car battery in 12V 10A. the 12V (or less) that comes from the computer basiclly can be 5v 0.1A..doesn't matter to me. (like car amp remote..)

need some help guys, its been a week and i came with no ideas. i'm sure someone here done something like this, and i'll be happy to get little help.

thank you for your time,
Alon. From Israel

1) phidgets
2) navivoice?
3) SEARCH

i rattled that off the top of my head. there are many more options, and if you need to ask what those options are, refer to #3 on my list up there.

You can have the computer control a circuit or relay via NaviVoice? That'd be damn cool ("windows up" .. "turn heat up" .. "convertable top down" .. "cruise control on" .. etc.)

That was the most helpful post I've read. Ever.

Yes. NaviVoice can call up apps with command line switches. If the app can be one instnace and accept command line switches, then you can have that. So say navivoice would launch "c:\aircon.exe /winDown" after you say "Windows down".
