Question XM Direct question

Inside the xm direct housing the board isattached to the side of the housing. Is this neccesary to be touching the housing wall?

You mean the voltage regulator that is bolted to the inside? If your going to run the XMD without a case I would at least put a small heatsink on that reg i've had mine get pretty hot at times

What kind of heatsink do you recommend i use so this wont over heat not using the case?
