Looks nice though... a bit too big for my taste.
How will you handle the long VGA signals ? (assuming it'll be mounted in the trunk)

/M

Don't get the ublox comment...? I searched google images for ublox but didn't see anything that looked like it.

As for the VGA signals, there doesn't seem to be a problem when using about 5 meters of cable. Which should do in most cases. Testing will show where's the limits...

Hopefully with the nano-itx boards coming available we'll be able to develop a smaller version!

Specs for the prototype aren't final yet, and pricing will be somewhere around 3k euro for a complete package: carpc, screen, operating system and front-end with navigation... Not sure what options will be included for that price and even if it's going to be around 3k. Just a guess.

The technical part is one thing, organisation, marketing, etc.. need to be done soon!

3K euro? wow... that's crazy.. that's about $3,500USD... probably worth it but I dunno who can just buy a system like that for their car

Well, it's only an estimate... and I think there will be a demand, just can't say how much of a demand.

Is it worth it? That's decided upon by the buyer, so I'll wait and see...

Thanks for the comments guys!
