And as I promised the eagle schematics. It was done in a hurry, but it will do. Of course check the footprints of the resistors and mostly the capacitors before you build it.

No, it's OK for me : "Tuner List HU/CDC hacking" is the name of the thread :-)

The only thing is that some might find this thread is too heavy, but I think it's better to have all centralized in the same place.

Vicne: thanks that's great!

Foldesa: thanks too, you're really amazing. I know the cs8406 can take i2c by switching something, and I did notice they advise some other diagram for the line input, but you're saying the mc33202 op amp wouldn't work ? Or just that I have to figure out the correct way to connect it to the cs5343 ?

If you want to change 5330 to 5343 then you have to do several things. I don't think we should discuss it here, instead send me a private message and I'll tell you about it. The forum is far too big now, so I think it would be wiser to add only the conclusion But I will help you

Done, you're right, if we manage to pull this out, we'll post the alternate schematics here.

As far as I know, it does NOT work on models before 2000 (I mean without spdif). Is that your observation too ?

You might want to take a look at http://www.javicas.8m.com/catalog.html
I don't understand Spanish, but it looks to me like a description of how to add an analog line output to a 22DC278/62B headunit (or the like) by tapping into the line inputs of the power amplifier section.

The simulator with the MINI-ISO connect cable only cost 11USD(88RMB), but I don't know how much cost of the freight charge.
