You can replace the factory ant. of the engenius usb adapter with one that have SMA connector or you can always mod a female connector to the USB adapter.

They probably don't make them because they usually come with a USB extension. They tell you to use the extension and reposition the whole unit up higher for better reception.

I just recently bought this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=5852121599 for $40 and am pretty pleased with it. I also bought a magnetic mount external antenna (7dbi), but the antenna that came with it actually does a much better job. |

Buffalo makes a sweet one... its usb 2.0 and takes a mc something connection which you can pick up a magnetic antenna on ebay for 15 bucks... I got my buffalo for dirt... think 19 on ebay. Range is pretty dang good. I was picking up wifi from about 300 yards through my house with it.
