How much would you pay for a motorized screen?

I just wanted to find out how much someone would pay for a motorized screen in comparrison to the same screen without the motor. Let me know what you think.

Yeah I completely understand, but if people are only willing to spend $50 for a motorized assembly I can understand why. So depending on how people reply would determine what kind of solution (quality wise) could be designed.

Just to clarify this would allow for users to have preset screen angles as well as a motorized screen for cd operation.

to clearify for everyone: you are talking about a double din sized unit that flips down to expose the cd rom? not the flip out units that are out there, correct?

I assume that first option is supposed to be "<$50" and not ">$50"?

Is there really only 12 people who have any input on this subject?

I'm not voting becaue of my own personal preferences and understanding of economics.
I have, however, edited the poll choice to read < $50.

I was looking at talking to some local fabrication shops of varying material and trade to have something like this built. I'd pay 50-75 depending upon the quality, and flexibility it gives me for various applications, specifically retrofitting a mac mini behind the lcd, and also the options to install lilliput (with transflective upgrade) or xenarc with transflective upgrade whenever it is released.

I am working right now on getting a 1din version completed first. Then I will be moving onto the 2din. The reason being is that the 1din will be easier and cheaper to make and I don't have to worry about trying to cram the full computer in the box.

If you make a single DIN motorized 7" touch unit capable of also housing a slim slot DVD/CDROM, I will be buying one!

Motorized is overated. It's only good on high-end screens where the mechanism works properly.
