How long do you think it will take you?
Will I be able to run it with two communication with some kind of plug in for RR after I get it back?
Ron
Can someone please post the actual wiring that needs to be done?
Can those that know answer these questions from an earlier post?:
1. Also wiring on the Dice The Ibus connector has the Brown as 12+, White as Ibus data, and Black as Ground?
2. Dice has the audio as Black Ground, Black Ground, Red as Right? and White as Left?
3. Instaed of a 1\8 connector could I use the aux in on my SB gamer x-fi sound card, input is the same as old cd rom in 4 pin connector (same we are using on the Ibus usb adapter)
Thanx a bunch, guys!
Ron

Hey everyone, this might be a dumb question but I just wanna make sure. Is the audio output from the Dice unit compatible with a standard AUX in on an aftermarket head unit or OEM integrator if they are sensitive enough?
Thanks

Can you clear up this question in my mind.
When HD available, it does has both FM and AM in HD right?
When HD NOT available, does it has both FM and AM or only FM?

Being able to stick in radio (HD especially) is probably what will be holding me up from doing everything on the bench, to stuffing everything in my car.
I'm eagerly waiting to see a final release of HD with a interface for a computer. As i see it now, its betweeen:
- your project (HD Dice)
- MP3Car's unit that had a teaser pic posted in this thread
- the RadioSharkHD unit (which just looks funny and wouldn't fit with my car)

When HD (digital) signal is not present, the unit reverts to non HD (analog) reception, FM or AM. You get the best of both worlds!

So basically you have 4 mode (let called it that way) HD FM, HD AM, Anal AM and Anal FM
Alright, time for saving. Also, time to replace the good old HU for a better future.

Anal AM and Anal FM thats a first j/k. Well I have been busy with work lately and am trading in my '01 325i for a '04 330xi so haven't had the time to work on the project. I am hoping to get the list up to $200 before the weekend otherwise I am going to spend the money and get the unit myself. I should have a beta version out by monday and will be sending it to the people who are on the contribution list to test.
Kamakazie is already testing a alpha version as of this moment and I am waiting for feedback from him until i get my own unit.

Kamakazie2 : $25
CaliM5 : $25
JW™ : $25
rcubed3r : $25
hadalgo : $25
----------------------------
Total : $175.00
