With the i bus analyzer i can view the raw data.. i can cee the AM and FM modes and control the unit. I have sound also!

Now for some debugging and software integration. I can change modes

i cannot change stations yet as i am still detemining what buttons to use.

More to come.

WOW!! I removed the Dice antenna and hooked it up to my factory antenna... FM in HD AM in HD stations from Philly i cant even pick up with the factory radio!!!

I was able to pick up like 15 HD radio staitons in FM alone! The sound is amazing.. some of the older stations in regular FM came in crystal CLEAR!

This is THE solution for the CAR PC RADIO!

sweet... i have been looking forward to this for a while..

but i noticed it is only available for BMW, Mini Coopers, Toyota, Lexus, and Scion vehicles.

Does that matter since we are using it wath a car pc (maybe antenna adapter is different for car radio) ?

Pay no attention to that... I am using a USB to BMW (Ibus) interface.. once you wire it up you can use it on any car pc..

The antenna adaptor i used took a standard motorola cable and plugged it in..
im using the Stock Chrysler antenna and it works better than any headunit i have ever used.

Thanks.. i took my time planning during shipping..

Also to confirm i have tested this in the car in a moving environment.. the radio remains stable and sounds great.. Listening to AM in HD disturbs me.. i was listening to a hockey game in stereo..

correct make sure tell them that its for a 2003 3series
.. the software will be for the Roadrunner front end. you will also need a 10k ohm resistor from radio shack.

the hookup is not that hard.

thats even better since RR is my front end of choice, plus being an electrical engineer student.. i think hooking up a 10K ohm resistor should be something i can handle
