Yes, I am the owner of EZAmps.com. EZAmps will soon be integrated into Envision Electronics and become a subdivision of it. The amps are really simple to build and give great results. I sell a lot of them and have never had any complaints - except that I don't offer an enclosure. I guess...if that's a complaint.

Hey, sorry I've been really busy with the "holiday" weekend, bunch of family came over all weekend, but I did get the power supply, and this one works flawlessly, thanks for sending out the new one so quickly I actually got it wed. or thurs. last week. Now if only I had a working amp

In regards to ezamps. Each one of the amps needs it own power supply? or can the power supply power two amps. Basically I'm thinking about ordering 6 amps, two running on their own for tweet's, and brige the other 4 for two woofers. Would I need 6 powersupplies, or could I have one for the bridged amps.

While I will answer your questions this one time about the amplifiers, please contact me directly on the Contact Us form at the site to avoid conflicts of interest with mp3Car. The Power Source (power supply) will easily run two amplifiers, and has conenctions for each. I recommend the upgraded power supply with the larger transformer if you're going to run the amplifier pair bridged or into 4 ohm loads with high duty cycles (lots of bass heavy music). The small supply will do the job, but the sound will be cleaner with the larger transformer under these conditions.

Are you the dead-JL Audio amp guy? Have you gotten any quotes on a repair? I *rarely* do repairs on car amps these days, but might be willing to do it for you if you're in a jam. My rates are reasonable, and I have some (ok, a lot of) experience with car amplifier repair. Can you give some details as to what it does - or what it last did before it died?

hey, yeah that was me.

JL wants 120 to swap the board out, probably a refurb, but they said to "new spec". As far as what it does, with or without anythng pluged into it as soon as it is turned on it goes right into low ohm mode. And when you play music through the "front" right rca you can hear the music comming out of the actual amp. This is with nothing but power and that one RCA... very weird. So I'm guessing it has a short inside the amp. As far as what it did before this, I couldn't say since I bought the amp off of someone on MP3car... However do to issues with school never had the chance to try it until months later. So at this point I'm not going to make a big deal of it with the guy I bought it off of. Just PM me about this... don't wanna spam this thread too much, and I've already done more then enough with the EZamps questions.
