Hi,
If I remember AudioMulch have option for MME, DirectSound and ASIO output. If Im right MME allow you only Stereo output, DirectSound and ASIO allow you multichannel outputs. I with AISO4ALL get some strange random pooping/crackling(1-2x in 5 min) with all buffers to full, with native ASIO I get a lot of less this pooping/crackling(1-2x in 30-60min). When Im test DirectSound(or MME I don't remember which allow multichannel) Im not get any pooping, but sound has been a lot of different than with ASIO, it looks like Im lose cca. 20-50% volume gain and music has been less detailed. But I will try it again on my notebook because maybe has been problem beta drivers for my sound card... If I play sound from WMP to direct speakers I get normal sound...

Are you using Virtual Audio Cable with Audio Mulch? If so, maybe you have "volume control" enabled in the VAC control panel, causing audio output through it to be too quiet.

Yes Im using VAC with Volume control enabled.

In ASIO4ALL I use VAC with same control panel settings as in DirectSound so I don't think that Volume in VAC is problem. Im set all Volumes to 100%... But I will try disable volume control in VAC when I will again try DirectSound if maybe is some internal problem in VAC driver...

Currently I using:
ASIO4ALL(Buffers to full)
VAC 4.09
AudioMulch 2.0.2
Centrafuse

VST Plugins:
5x Electri-q(2x for TW, 2x for MID and 1x for SUB)
1x Voxengo Sound Delay

But Im not very happy with result because I get random pooping...

I went from using the free VST Host program with ASIO4ALL, to using AudioMulch with DirectSound output, and the audio volume is the same as far as I can tell.

It could be you haven't raised the volume on the correct mixer device. Double-click the speaker icon, and select Properties from the menu, and select each mixer device in turn (one for VAC, one for your sound card), and make sure the volume is turned up. This is assuming Windows XP, as that's what I have. It may be different on Vista or W7.

Im 99% shure that all volumes has been on 100% and balance for each output on 0 in cmedia control panel and windows mixer. Problem is not only volume. Sound has not be as must it has been like it cut some MID frequency out, some SUB frequency and tw frequency, but I can't tell for shure until I re-test it again and see what will happen now. Maybe is something with Electri-Q that do not work with directsound... Because If I remember if Im direct link input to output has been better... I will see in next days when I will test again and ty LS_Filter too...

Now Im back from garage. Im spend 3h with trying to get work DirectSound.
In AudioMulch Im select DirectSound
Then Im for Input device select Line 1(Virtual Audio Cable)
Set buffer to 8192
For Output Im select Speakers (Claro Halo)
Set buffer to 8192

In Audio Input Im assign to SoundIn: Line1(Virtual Audio Cable) CH1&CH2

In Audio Output Im assign to SoundOut: Speakers (Claro Halo) CH1&CH2 (TW)
AuxOut1: Speakers (Claro Halo) CH3&CH4 (SUB)
AuxOut2: Speakers (Claro Halo) CH5&CH6
AuxOut3: Speakers (Claro Halo) CH7&CH8 (MID)

No mather to which Output I connect signal allways play only from tweeters :S So from other speakers I can't get sound.
-----------------------
Console:
If I select DirectSound I can from combobox select only modex which are 2 channel for example something like this:
...
44100Hz/24Bit/1CH
44100Hz/24Bit/2CH
48000Hz/24Bit/1CH
48000Hz/24Bit/2CH
96000Hz/24Bit/1CH
96000Hz/24Bit/2CH
...

I think I will change soundcard to some other PCI card which have Internal routing and Windows 7 support but first I must find it...

When Im have pc in test bench Im use original 90W PSU which is included in Travla case, and Im listen sound by headphone and has been same. But Im not test other outputs, because is inposible test it by headphones(RCA outputs without headphone amplifiers)... On bench Im get pooping/crackling too so is not problem PSU.
I will buy some other sound card(must have ASIO, internal routing and Win7 support) and see if will work... And if will work I will try put this Claro Halo in home pc but I think it wil not work on it because OS is Win 2003. Before all this I will tomorrow remove mini pci express UMTS card which share same IRQ if this is problem, but currently I don't use it yet because is in case and provide interference(I can hear when search network in speakers)...

Dejan summed it up very nicely- I am not near my car now, but I believe that is how my system is setup.

Double check that you have Redone the connections after swiching over to the different audio driver.

Like I said, I am not near my car, but I believe that I am not using vac or a4all at all right now-- I have setup my onboard audio as the primary audio output in windows, and than set it up in audio mulch as the input.
