Xonar D2 VS Essence ST

Hi.
I am now buildning me a carpc.
It will be for real SQ.

My audio setup is for now.

4 x Digital Designs DDA W6.5 (midbass)
2 x Digital Designs DDA T28 (tweeters)
1 x Digital Designs DD3512 (woofer)
2 x Digital Designs S2 (amp)

I will plays this like 2.1 system. (maybe in the future I will go like 4.1 or something)

Two 6.5" + one tweeter at each front doors.
I will drive this direct from the pc, without HU.
I have it wired like this.

Amp1, channel left = 2 x mid + 1 x tweet
Amp1, channel right = 2 x mid + 1 x tweet
Amp2, Bridge to one woofer.

Shell I buy xonar D2 or shell I buy Essence ST sound card?

Whats best for me? I am not so good at sound cards.

Please help me faaaast!!!

why 2 mid's? it just seems a little excessive for a sq setup-- more paths that must be aligned...

also, look into computer crossovers, and running a full active setup, as your are soon to find, passive crossovers, and dual woofers don't play nice right out of the box, and passive crossovers tend to hurt the overall power going to the speakers, and that will hurt the overall sound quality...

looking over the specs for the s2, it is one big amp for midbass duty-- are you sure you want almost 400-700 watts(400 @4ohm, 700 @2ohm-- what 2 mids wired parrallel would do) going into a passive crossover for your mids/tweets?

most passive crossovers don't do to well with 400-700 watts going through them(unless you are interested in watercooling the crossover board-which is going to be jsut as expensive as adding amps)-- you will either have to design your own, or have to get more amps and run a active setup (i still don't see any reason to run 400 watts into any tweeter, or mid for that matter).

If is 2 RCA output enought then go with ST if not then buy D2.
ST have only 2 RCA out if you connect H6 DAC board(Which you can't buy anywhere only in kit with HDAV1.3 Deluxe) you get 8RCA outs but then total price is over $350...
Maybe you can look for HT Omega - Claro Halo XT which cost $250...
Afcourse you need dual core(Intel or AMD) carpc and goo for active system(your carpc is DSP)...
