Change GPS?

I am planning on using this USB GPS receiver with the T3

instead of the one supplied since this one is a SIRF III.
Since I have purchased Streetdeck Lite as I am in NZ, I presume this receiver will work fine?

That's one of the most commonly used GPS receivers - at least around here. You should be just fine.

I'm using BR-355, PS/2 version. I had hoped it would work with the PS/2 port on the back of T3 labled GPS. Apparently it didn't work. So I got the Serial-to-USB adaptor and T3 picked it up no problem. I'm using it with iGuidance and it works perfectly. Never had one single crash, which I had constantly with StreetDeck navigation. I'm sure BR-353 will work just as well.
