Remote control used to work fine. But one day it stopped working. I don't know if it happened with the hard drive upgrade as all the drivers were reinstalled.

Anyone know if this is a driver issue? Or something else?

Ok, it wasn't the battery. Even with a new battery it wasn't responding. So I thought maybe there was a conflict with USB devices, so I removed all USB devices from the back, and voila the remote is back alive. It still works with USB devices added back.

However, another problem arose where remote is working only when it's like an inch from the IR receiver. Before it used to work from anywhere in the car.

Anybody have this problem with T3?

Is everybody's remote working in their T3? I now know that something's wrong with the IR receiver on the faceplate, because remote will work if it's like an inch away. It's also like that with SWI-X. If the IR eye of the SWI-X is like an inch from the receiver, it responds.

I really like to know if anyone else is having this problem.
