T3 Radio driver wont load (Fixed, Problem solved)
This must be my day to post "problems with my T3..."
Anyway, I had the radio working in my T3 and SD. Now I am getting an error stating that the "MFCOM&Infill" driver (or whatever the name is) can not be started (error code 10). I have tried reinstalling the driver several times with no success.
I currently have the ElmScan OBDII installed along with the other stock items (WiFi, GPS, etc).
Any thoughts?
Thanks, Scot

Did the radio work before? What did you do right before it stopped working? In Control Panel -> device manager, are all devices working properly without caution mark?
I would try regardless of whether there's caution mark or not, delete "MFCOM&Infill" device from the device manager. Restart computer. Maybe the computer will recognize the new device and ask for the driver. Then direct computer to the driver directory. Or if it doesn't recognize, go to device manager and do a hardware scan, computer picks up the new device and you direct it to the driver directory.
See if that works.

Yeah... I did all this already. I get a "device driver could not start. Error (10)" or some such nonsense.
It was working at one point. I installed a bunch of stuff after the radio was working. My guess is I have a conflict with another driver or something.

Then the problem might be another device. Are these "bunch of stuff" usb devices? I would try removing all hardware devices that you added from device manager and see if that brings back the radio.

Basically, then only hardware I installed was my ElmScan unit. I also installed a bunch of software. I also have a USB hub which I have since disconnected.
Oddly enough, I took another look at it last night and the DFCOM&INFILL hardware device no longer shows a ?. But I still do not have radio functionality. I might try another unistall/install round and see what happens.

Fixed it.
Apparently, when you switch to Radio mode or Music mode and you have output line defined (Wave, SWSynth, etc) for each of those, it mutes those lines when you exit either of the functions (radio or music). At least that's my theory. I set both to "disabled volume" and now both the radio and music functions work.

Ahh yes, so it was the software setting in the StreetDeck. I remember having that problem. Whenever switching between radio, music, Video and TV, somehow it always muted the sound in the Windows sound setting.
Glad it's working now.
