Vista requires new firmware for TM-868

I cannot get my TM-868 to work with Vista.
I'm using the new Vista drivers, but then saw that these drivers
require firmware 2.30 or higher.
My TM-868 is only 2.18
The old XP drivers do not work with Vista at all.

Does any one know if it's possible to upgrade the firmware?
If so, how and where do I find the firmware?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. Vista is bad for the CarPC environment. You gain nothing, loose a lot, and reduce your compatable software. Give it a year or two, but as of now, you are just asking for headaches such as this one.

And the answer to your question, you are S.O.L.

the screen i got is 2.18 also, but im not using vista so it works fine. the only problem i have is that when starting to computer the screen turns white, and i have to shut it off and then back on for it to display properly. this is only if the screen was on first. not a big deal. for the price (150), this screen is real nice. i also enjoyed the translated manual.

I have the same touchscreen and I got mine working in 32 bit vista by using the xp drivers from egalax and manually forcing the drivers to install(do a search on google to find out how). It's been working great for months now.
