I just saw that xbox360 chatpad & bought it. man, this thing looks cool, this is the keyboard I've been waiting for for years... I've seen tons of tiny keyboards before, but none look nice enough to build into an install, this thing is beautiful, even backlit.... awsome built into a console or ejecting compartment....

now, I have no idea what it would take to use it with my carpc, but whatever it takes, this is my new keyboard

so now the question? how does it work? microsoft makes a xbox360 style controller for the pc, does it also have a connection for these? could it be that easy?

this thing needs it's own thread, only reason I posted it here is this is the only thread mentioning this keyboard on the whole site from what I see...

i got almost the same exact thing today after reading this thread. i couldnt find the madcatz one anywhere but bestbuy had a single gameshark one left. its basically the same thing except its all black and it doesnt take AAA batteries. it recharges via a usb connection which i find quite convenient. im actually typing this on the thumbpad right now to get used to it. still nowhere near typing without looking at the keys but still faster than using the roll up keyboard i had. the range is excellent as well. i do wish it were backlit though. but still all around this is a great product

its made for portability..... if you need a bigger one, then buy a bigger one. I like the fact that I can simply tuck this into a cup holder and what not for passengers to see and use.

I am not liking that price though....... I mean for that, I can buy another 15 inch screen......

Has anyone tried adding maybe like a LED light that shines down onto the PS3 keyboard?, Maybe even 4 well placed LEDs in each corner of the unit? Maybe that will be enough to create light?
