Been googling around for autoswitching...
Think i might have an answer without too much modification...
First is using an RCA - VGA Adapter

obviously with a male to female adapter first for the camera to go to VGA.
2nd part using a KVM - i.e.

Then hacking the switch with a relay---
This consumes very little power / and quite an easy mod.
May I have some feedback please? It might cost a little but it's easier for people that don't have the technical knowledge of pic programming etc...
