Need a compact wireless kb and mouse set?

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16823141016

I just got this last tuesday. It works great, I keep the keyboard under my seat and the mouse in my center console. The range is limited though, I have the reciever under my shifter plastic. It beats the hell out of a thumb keyboard and stylus! It's full size and great for surfing the web in the car.

That looks like what I have been looking for... The PDA bluetooth folding keyboards are nice too, but I don't really need it to fold, plus, they are waaay too expensive.

Just how far can you go with this guy? Will it work in the drivers seat if the reciever is in the glovebox? Also, is there an on off switch on the keyboard?

Looks good though! Thanks for sharing.

EDIT: I have used the BTC brand ones and got pretty good range with them on my HTPC. The key layout was what made me go with a different one... I didn't even think to look at those again.

That's the thing... the range is really really limited. Possibly because it's a super-low power set. I doubt it will work with the reciever in the glovebox. I have mine under the shifter plastic and it works from the front seats, I haven't tried the back, but I'd say it's a no-go. Theres no on/off switch on the keyboard but I just put it under my seat.
