Using 2 touchscreen monitors to control 1 pc.....

Hi guys,

Planning on putting together a new in-car PC very soon, which i was plannin on having a dual screen setup much like i have at home, with 2 seperate 8" monitors.

Now, i hadn't thought this through properly, as I also want the touchscreen on each screen to be active and work....

Does anyone know if this is going to cause problems ? has anyone got touchscreens working across a dual desktop ??

Thanks

Never tried it with Dual Desktop. I know it works with just two touchscreens on a single desktop.

ahh ok, thats cool. so they don't get confused with each other ? 2 of the same make i guess ?

I would imagine they'd be fine with a dual desktop then!

I was sort of expecting them to "conflict" with each other....

i just came across this the other day and it seems like a pretty cool and cheap way to run multiple desktops...maybe a little too much for this application but you never know check out the website http://www.ncomputing.com/ncomputing...s/overview.php

I have used "MagicTwin" motherboards and software before and it works well. 2 completely independant PCs that share a mobo and drives. 2 keyboards, mice, monitors everything all controlled from 1 PC. Can be logged in seperately.
