Is this inside a house or in a car or what you're referring too?

Do think it would be possible to modify a car antenna cable, and change the connector to a type that fits in the piranhas connector for external antenna? If so, it would be possible to have a permanent connection to an external antenna, trough the carradio-antenna.

the reception with an external car antenna is fine. no problems at all. I'd say it was as good as a headunit although the sound doesn't sound as good as FM, sounds a bit harsher but there is no static even on the move.

I bought a blaupunkt window aerial for the car and its really good, just plugs in using RF connectors (I they are sma but can't remember off the top of my head)

RR Skin integration

Hi folks, this sounds very promising. Has anyone integrated the Terratec Cinergy Piranha in a RR Skin yet?

Yes, its about the only device i found, able to receive DVB-T and DAB- Radio. Since most people are unhappy with their AM/FM USB- Sticks, might be the way to go. Did read that it is quite CPU intensive, might run smoothly only with 2Ghz CPU's. Would like to know if the experts here have integrated the dingy already to any Skin.

Cheers
