I was testing it for work and loved it. I ordered it and got it 2 days ago. I LOVE IT. Once you set it up and get used to it there is no going back. Its the device that sets my carputer above the rest. GET IT... you wont regret it.

did you have to install any software for this thing?, The reason I ask is because I just bought an open box unit that didn't have software, I didn't figure that was an issue since it was Mac software and just a keyboard anyway. I have managed to pair this with my computer but it doesn't do anything. after hitting the power button the light comes on for a few seconds then shuts off and typing is only finger exercise because nothing shows up on the screen. I am now wondering if there were some XP drivers or something on the missing disc?

ok I got to noticing that the open box unit I got kept dumping the passkey, probably the reason for it being open box, I guess best buy doesn't return defective products to the manufacturer, they just stick them on the shelf and let someone else buy them again! any way I returned it and got a new one, I see it doesn't even come with software, that was the empty pouch for the batteries that I mistook for a cd sleeve. this one is working great, no problems.

149$ well spent!
Mine was delivered via DHL today and it is by far the best keyboard/mouse combination I could have asked for. It stores conveniently in the glove compartment. I'm almost adjusted to it, now if only I could program a right click button I would be in heaven.

Heaven you say maybe I can help, download AutoHotKey and use it to program right click to any key you want. It's free and easy to use, just write a simple script to associate right click to a key you dont really use often I.E the "end" key below is an example of the script. When end key is pressed it would emulate right click
end::RButton
You could just copy and paste the bolded text above into notepad then change the extension frorm .txt to .ahk double click it thats it (after installing AutoHotKey). You could copy the .ahk to your startup to have it load when windows boots. Also "ctrl","shift","f10" at the same time can bring up right click menu.
Down load AutoHotKey from the link below

Well, I got mine, and it's grat. Easy to use, automatic connection, nice looking, fits right in my center console. All in all, I love it.
Except: the AC charger takes wall current, and puts out 8 volts at 500 milliamps! Why such a ridiculous voltage!!! Why 8 volts!!! I can get a regulated steady 5 volts from my carPC power supply, and I can get a regulated 12 volts. But not 8 volts!!!
I was going to tap into the carPC power supply, and cut the wall charger cord, using the plug in it to wire into the carPC power supply and chrage the keyboard when the car was on, even when the keyboard was sitting in storage in my center console. But since it takes 8 volts, I can't! What a pain in the ***! I wonder what would happen if I fed the keyboard 5 volts. Would that drain it, or charge it, or hurt it, or do nothing?
Oh well,e verything else about it is great.
