Connecting rear view camera

I have this 10,4 screen from the gooddeals website:

And I bought this camera:

How do I connect the camera on my carpc?
Just plug it in directly in my screen?
Or buy a seperate card for in my pc?

And can I use this camera in Centrafuse?
Or must I switch manualy the screen to camera mode?

if you want to control the camera through the PC, then the camera has to go into a video input port on the PC. This usually means buying a tuner card.

If you want the camera seperate from the computer, then just run it to the screen and manually switch between the modes. If you had bought a Xenarc, the screen would automatically switch inputs when a signal is present on the camera line for future reference.

They sell USB tuner cards...... Here is a newer version of the one I use. http://www.aver.com/mpd/avertvusbmce.html

Centrafuse was able to use it easily.... I am sure it will be easy to use the CAM feature also in CF. I took the card out because TV reception was bad when moving. That will not concern you though since your only using it for the CAM. Like toaster said, you should have went with a diffrent screen. I have a K-90 flip out, and it has the cable Toaster is describing. When I turn on my car, the screen turns on right away (did nto hook to the PC because I need to see in reverse right away) The camera's 12V plus is also hooked up to the acc 12v as the K-90 so both turn on. I then put the car in reverse and the monitor automatically switches, then when in drive goes to the PC screen.

When I buy the tv-tuner,
Is it possible then to connect it to my reverse gear?
Or is this only possible with specific screens?

Which rear-view camera is that?

I'd think if you had some kind of electronic switch device, you could just wire a relay into it so that when you go into reverse, it switches automatically.

just power your camera from your reverse lights (lights that go on in the back when your car is in reverse - every car has those lights). then when those lights are on, your camera will be on. if your display supports autoswitching of inputs, then you can make it switch inputs whenever the camera turns on.

thats the issue.... his screen does not support auto switching...... there has to be a way though.... How many A/V hook ups does you screen have? maybe you can use the ground wire on the reverse light and connect it to some kind of switch to make the screen change to A/V one.... that would of course involve moding the screens circuits.....

Is there maybe a software sollution to do this?

I just have bought this USB video device.
Now I'm looking for a sollution to get the camera screen into Centrafuse automatic when driving in the reverse.......

I really dont think there is a software solution. It has to be done with hardware. I know there is this device called fusion brain. i think you can do something with that. Hopefully someone that knows about fusion brain can comment on the idea.
