dvd player

i just bought an external slim dvd player and it had no instructions there are two wires coming from it. one that goes to usb and a second that goes to usb as well as serial... i wanted to know does the serial go into the mouse or keyboard input?? thanks!

The dual cable is a power tap, just plug in the usb of that, and leave the serial/PS/2 disconnected on that cable.
